Tim Saunders is a New Zealander currently living in Hamburg, Germany. He works as a freelance writer with his partner Kathrin Schimmack, a noted photographer. Between the two of them they have traveled to almost every corner of the world, often with no idea how to get home again, or exactly where home actually is. In the past Tim has worked as a farmer, a TV cameraman, a cave guide, a tour leader, and a Lord of the Rings guide. He still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up. Maybe an astronaut…
