Travel Bonanza for Europeans

With the value of U.S. currency falling fast, now is a great time for Europeans to travel to the US. We have some friends living in London, and they say there are great deals to be had, both for airfare and shopping in easy-access cities like New York. There are people coming to NYC from Europe just to go shopping for the weekend… it is almost a half-price vacation for them! (the British Pound is almost 2:1 to the dollar… amazing). It wasn’t long ago that Americans had this advantage.. but like everything, change is upon us.

So, anyone out there have any suggestions for bargain destinations? Thailand is still cheap (once you get airfare): where else?
