Explore the Best of Croatia and Slovenia On New “Dalmatian Sunshine” Escorted Tour
Long synonymous with vacations to Ireland and Britain, CIE Tours International has extended its expertise into Eastern Europe, offering a new Dalmatian Sunshine vacation, a 10-day/8-night escorted tour of the fast-emerging destinations of Croatia and Slovenia. The itinerary, which follows the Dalmatian coastline - a beautiful area characterized by chains of islands close to the mainland, includes seven half-day sightseeing tours with local guides in Dubrovnik, Split, Plitvice Lakes, Postojna Caves, Bled, Ljubljana and Zagreb.
Scenic highlights include the Adriatic Sea, artisan island of Trogir, Bay of Kvarner, and the Julian Alps, plus medieval squares, walled towns, open air markets.
Admissions are provided to Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery Pharmacy in Dubrovnik; Diocletian’s Palace at Split, a UNESCO World Heritage Cultural site; Plitvice Lakes National Park; Postojna Caves; Bled Castle, one of the oldest medieval fortresses in Slovenia; and Zagreb Cathedral.
The price includes first class hotel accommodations with private bath for eight nights; eight buffet breakfasts and five dinners; all sightseeing tours and admissions as specified in the itinerary; group transfers on arrival and departure; transport by luxury motorcoach with the services of a professional tour director; all local taxes, hotel service charges and porterage; deluxe flight bag, ticket wallet, luggage tags and strap.
