Diving with the Empire Hotel

The Empire Hotel & Country Club’s Diving Centre has been upgraded to earn recognition as an’International Gold Palm Resort’ – the highest possible PADI status a resort can earn.

Brunei’s long-overlooked scuba diving treasures are surfacing now, as the centre is guiding scuba divers around unspoiled reefs, oil rigs and to over 20 world-class shipwrecks. The closest site is just 15 minutes from shore, while Kuraman Island’s beautiful reefs – famed for dolphins and whale sharks – are a 25-minute boat ride away.

Brunei’s diving season runs from March to November. The Centre’s two dive masters offer tuition on all levels, from beginners to PADI Basic Open Water and PADI Dive Master. For more information on diving in Brunei, visit www.scubatechnintl.com.
