Looks like Los Angeles just had a 5.6 earthquake, interesting considering there was ALSO a 2.1 earlier today in New Jersey and a big one in the Solomon Islands. The L.A. quake started gently, and built up to a solid shake, although nothing fell over in my office or came crashing to the floor. Whew. News is still coming in about the details, but it is amazing that we already have so much info about this shaker, only 15 minutes later!
