Elizabeth Hooper

Elizabeth Hooper is a Massachusetts-based consultant and freelance writer. She is driven by an insatiable curiosity to learn obscure facts about everything. Her work in economic development takes her to exotic locales and allows her to interact with colleagues from around the globe. Her forays into freelance writing have focused primarily on travel pieces capturing her misadventures. She currently has a novel in progress.

A native of Boston, Elizabeth has studied at the University of Massachusetts and Harvard University. She has traveled extensively in Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, the US and Canada. Highlights include spelunking in Tennessee, chasing lemurs in Belize, swimming with wild dolphins in Kaleakakua Bay in Hawaii, shopping at Harrods in London after watching far too many episodes of Are You Being Served?, and surviving Ash Fork, Arizona.
