born in Springfield, Missouri in 1982, Andrew Hill completed a B.A. at the University of Wisconsin in 2006. he plans to return to France for an English teaching assistantship in the Fall of 2008. he currently works with the Mexican and Hmong immigrants in Wisconsin. His current interest is the development of the medieval love-lyric in Europe in the context of a philosophy taken from various religious sources (Islam; Judaism; or generally speaking, the mystical union of the divine and the human) and expressed in these love-songs by the exchange between the lover and the beloved.
