Jeannie Boutelle has a passion for the mountains and learning about other cultures. She lives in the flatlands of Chicago but uses it as a hub to explore mountain ranges and cultures across the world. A sales trader by profession she uses every bit of her spare time to ski, mountain bike and trek, getting a dose of the sights, sounds and tastes, of the big cities along the way, particularly, the restaurants, but spending most of her time in search of trekking, scrambling and climbing opportunities at higher altitudes. She finds ‘cultural trekking”, gives her an appreciation for the environment and the uniqueness of each country she visits. Her attitude is there are too many places to explore, to many cultures to experience, sights to see and the challenge is finding and making the time to do it.
